Scar Revision

Surgical scar revision is done at our clinic to give an esthetic scar so that it is not visible easily and from a distance. There is not a surgery that is scarless but a good surgery gives an esthetic scar which is inconspicuous.

Scar revision is usually done to improve trauma scars and less frequently to improve surgical scars. Some patients respond aggressively to a wound thus giving an unsightly scar. These patients have an inherent tendency for it. These are not ideal candidates but less than perfect results can be achieved with the help of medications and other procedures.
